Single Cylinder Engine Exhaust Blanket

Looking to shield the rest of your engine from the heat produced by a hot muffler? If so, you’re in luck! 
Our specifically designed Muffler Blankets accomplish this in the simplest way possible! No springs, zip ties, or mousing-wire required! NOTE: Bolt holes are utilized for installation on some models of Briggs and Rato Engines. We recommend using the bolts with a fender washer if available. If your machine differs from the layouts we have pictured, we can not guarantee fitment. In this case I recommend ordering a Rato version as it has fit Every combination of muffler and shield that we have tried it on.

Two Styles to Choose From:

Briggs and Stratton 13.5hp XR2100 Engines may have 2 bolts on top of the muffler, and they are set on a diagonal. The muffler is also tapered towards the exhaust pipe. These blankets fit tight to the muffler, and can be installed under the cage if required.

Rato/Predator 420cc Engines may have 2 bolts on top of the muffler, and they are aligned straight up and down. These mufflers are square. These blankets fit over the top of the whole muffler and shield. Some Rato engines have a cage with (4) bolts on the side, and none on top. This is not a problem! Covers still slip tightly and securely over the cage and stay put without any fasteners.
